University of Utah Stroke Research Study Evaluating the MyoPro®

The University of Utah is conducting a research study evaluating the FDA-registered MyoPro® powered orthosis, a wearable device being studied for use in people who have experienced a stroke.

Participation is voluntary and provided at no cost to participants. Clinicians and prospective participants are encouraged to learn more about eligibility and study expectations.

About the Study

Purpose

Researchers are studying how the MyoPro® powered orthosis may be used after stroke and how it may support upper-extremity recovery and function.

No Cost to Participants

Participation in the study is provided at no cost to participants.

University-Led Research

This research is being conducted by the University of Utah and reviewed by the University of Utah Institutional Review Board.

Eligibility Criteria

You May Be Eligible If You:

  • Have had a stroke
  • Have arm and hand weakness
  • Are between 18 and 80 years old
  • Are able to travel to the University of Utah for study visits
