MyoCare Coach (Arkansas)

The MyoCare Coach will perform a variety of clinical support services for Myomo’s MyoCare intervention program. This role maintains responsibility for user engagement in the MyoCare pre-delivery process and post-delivery intervention to include managing follow-up care for MyoPro users, treating therapists, and referring physicians via phone, email, and telehealth.

The MyoCare Coach may travel within their local area/and or state for in-person visits with patients and/or therapists, and provide in-services for Myomo product training and support. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders to coordinate services as needed. He/she will communicate progress, problem solving as needed with the Myomo circle of care, user, caregiver, treating therapists and prescribing physicians during the MyoCare follow-up process.

The MyoCare Coach will demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills, as well as time management, clinical judgment, and professionalism in all interactions. He/she will work to ensure long-term success and drive quality outcomes with the MyoPro, diligently motivating and coaching the user.

A successful candidate in the role will drive quality outcomes, team accountability, and productivity. He/she will become a link between Myomo, the user, the treating therapist,  prescribing physician, and the overall circle of care. Ultimately, the MyoCare Coach will play a key role in ensuring the satisfaction of user needs post-delivery.

Responsibilities

The MyoCare Coach is knowledgeable about neurological impairments and associated diagnoses, treatment, available community and governmental resources, and psychosocial implications for individuals and families. He/she provides appropriate interventions and service coordination to users and their families; and is pragmatic in approaching issues. Effective communication over multiple formats is vital.

  • Interacts with users and caregivers via phone, email, and telehealth.
  • Performs clinical duties in accordance with specific guidelines and adheres to Myomo’s policies and procedures.
  • Maintains responsibility for inbound and outbound calls, emails with users, therapists, and physicians as it relates to MyoCare.
  • Works with users who do not have a providing therapist, to identify a therapist who will provide MyoPro-focused treatment.
  • Conducts follow-up care sessions with users, therapists, and physicians as assigned.
  • Connects and empowers users to access resources related to rehab, therapeutic and functional improvement.
  • Supports a collaborative clinical and sales environment utilizing a team approach to ensure coordination of services and enhance continuity of care.
  • Uses problem solving skills to offer support to users or clinicians, obtains and evaluates relevant information and provides quick resolutions to questions, concerns, and problems; provides follow-up when appropriate.
  • Facilitates consultation/coordination with clinical staff as needed.
  • Reviews patient’s medical records for appropriate documentation.
  • Documents activities in CRM user record in a consistent and timely manner to include progress toward goals, utilization information, and next action required.
  • Performs all tasks in a timely manner and assists in monitoring use of MyoPro per MyoCare policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrates excellent time management and strong attention to detail, with an exceptionally strong work ethic.

  • Actively supports a customer service-oriented environment to continually enhance customer satisfaction, demonstrating expert customer service.
  • Collaboratively works with internal and external teams and clinicians to achieve optimal outcomes with the MyoPro.

While the role and responsibilities is focused on MyoCare, the MyoCare Coach may on occasion be asked to perform work on behalf of Clinical Services & Education or other departments.

Qualifications

  • Clinical education ( Occupational or Physical Therapy Licensed in appropriate discipline. (E.g., OTR, PT, COTA/PTA)
  • Experience with neurological impairments and associated diagnoses/comorbidities.
  • An ability to convey leadership and expertise regarding the MyoPro. (Training will be included upon hire)
  • 5 years of clinical experience required, with a high degree of resourcefulness as well as exceptional communication skills.
