Evidence Based Medicine Myoelectic Upper Limb Orthosis

Clinical studies have been conducted using the Myomo system since 2004 at the following institutions:

MIT/Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, the University of Cincinnati, the University of Pittsburgh and New York Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center.

Myoelectric orthoses have been used by clinicians to treat patients since 1967. A summary of related research is listed below:
